1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using the website www.thediscourseproject.org (the “Site”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”), our Privacy Policy, FEC compliance disclosures, and applicable federal laws and regulations governing independent expenditure-only political action committees (“Super PACs”).
2. Purpose
The Discourse Project is a Super PAC formed under applicable U.S. law to engage in independent expenditures supporting or opposing political candidates, campaigns, issues, or public officeholders. It operates outside the control or direction of any candidate or political party and complies with federal and state filings and disclosure obligations.
3. Eligibility and Restrictions
• Use of the Site is limited to lawful purposes. You must not use this Site to coordinate with any candidate, campaign, political party, or candidate-affiliated agent, in accordance with Super PAC prohibitions against coordination.  
• You may not submit content or inquiries that violate applicable laws, including FEC regulations or rules against foreign nationals contributing to U.S. elections.
4. Content & Disclaimers
The Site may feature information, analysis, commentary, or position statements. Content is for informational purposes only and should not be construed as legal, financial, or political advice.
5. Reporting & Transparency
We adhere to all FEC disclosure requirements:
• We disclose contributors who give more than $200 in the aggregate per election cycle, as required by law. 
• All expenditure and contribution reports are filed with the Federal Election Commission and made publicly available in compliance with FEC regulations. 
6. Prohibited Uses
• You may not use the Site to facilitate illegal coordination with candidates or campaigns.
• You may not use site features (e.g. contact forms) to submit false or misleading donor or contributor information.
• You may not attempt to exploit data fields for mailers, ad targeting, or campaign canvassing if such use violates federal or state law.
7. Site Security, Privacy & Data
We employ commercially reasonable standards to safeguard data. Please see our Privacy Policy for details on how we collect, use, store, and disclose personal information.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on this Site—text, logos, graphics, etc.—is owned by The Discourse Project or used under license. You may view, download, or print content for personal, non-commercial use only. Any other use requires express written permission.
9. Disclaimers of Warranty & Limitation of Liability
The Site and content are provided “as is,” without any warranties. We disclaim all implied guarantees, including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. We are not liable for any damages arising from Site use or inability to use the Site.
10. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms from time to time. Revised Terms will be posted on the Site with a new effective date. Continued use constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by and construed under U.S. federal law and the laws of the State where The Discourse Project is registered.
